This team works on defense the same as every previous team. However, I dont believe the baseball IQ of this team as a whole is the same as in years past. Instinct, leadership, communication, etc are all lacking.

I just can’t compare this team to last years and probably won’t ever compare any team to last years.
The ‘22 squad was special and we will probably never see another team like that, IMO it’s unfair to compare any team to them and anyone who does is setting themselves up for disappointment.
