A lot of the posters last night fully expected that this game was ours like the LSU and Florida series. I didn't think the Vols had a chance. One of the things you learn living in Arkansas is how deeply they hate the Vols. They'll stick it to us any time they can. If this was a seven game series, they wouldn't let up.

We have to win the Vandy series at minimum, and frankly may have to sweep. I said before this series that we needed 3-3 between Arky and Vandy for me to feel good about making a regional. Well there’s only one path to that now…

They can hate us all they want, but if all of the players on our team were playing better and playing like they’re capable of playing then it wouldn’t matter. I think we have great players, but they’re just not gelling collectively.

I agree and my point was that OM wasn’t like us and just finally figured it out. Instead, they got .300+, double digit HR guys back in the lineup and the pitching improved when they switched the rotation for good.

Sadly, we just aren’t very good. Really surprising given our starting pitching and the talent on this team. I know we lost a ton from last years team, and I never expected to be on the same plane as them, but I expected better than this.

Shocking that we may not make the postseason. Players and staff just haven’t got the job done. First time CTV has underachieved.

Now they can still turn it around but it better start now.

are you serious? Basing a stadium renovation off tough 1/2 year when most people would consider this a rebuilding year

I understand your point but, It’s one partial, bad season, and we still have a lot of ⚾️. Tony’s success brought fan interest back to TN baseball, and to be honest, college baseball for many.

TN fans love baseball too so White would’ve gotten the deal done this yr or next, if it hadn’t been approved last yr.
