He hasn’t pitched in a year and isn’t conditioned to throw 80+ pitches in a game yet. He was at 60 and that’s probably enough. The issue is he should’ve hit 60 in the 4th or even 5th, the way he was going if his defense didn’t fail him multiple times.

The attitude of NCAA title or nothing is delusional. Last season was enjoyable and a terrific season. Obviously not the ending we wanted but team was best I’ve ever seen.
