I don’t watch much UT football anymore. Kinda kicked the addiction in Dooley last year. For some reason I decided to watch this game. Reminds me a lot of the Jeff Olszewski/Steve Alatorre quarterbacked games of the very early 1980s. Thankfully Alan Cockrill showed up and was really one of the keys to turning the program around for Majors.

I think everyone's seen this game before.We kick field goals and eventually our opponent comes back and wins by scoring touchdowns.That said I'm glad we're winning and hope we hold on.

I love the game plan with Arky. We are bigger up front and can just run it down their throat. JG doesn't have to do much passing, which is a blessing. It's not going to work when we play Auburn, A&M, and FL. If we don't get a QB that has a passing threat, we will see >30 point losses in those games.

That play is exactly why oc has to call conservative game plan. This offensive game plan is exactly what Pruitt wants, and that is why he says jg gives us the best chance to win. Pruitt wants mainly a running game, which in todays football, will not beat the good teams. Got to have a good run game and also good pass game. And jg does not get you the good pass game.
