The Official Tennessee @ #11 Florida Game Thread, 7:00 PM ET, ESPN

I’m pleased with the effort, especially defense, but this is as painful as ever.

Defense going to be left out to dry. Mullen will make adjustments and our HC will keep trying to floor it while penalties mount and confusion persists.

We are never going to win the big games as long as we continue beating ourselves.

2 15 yard penalties back to back will always do it... Several overthrown balls to potentially big plays with momentum shift. Come on. The guy is young, he can learn, but will he?

For those complaining about timeouts. You don't call timeouts in this scenario with this offense. If you do the advantage goes to the defense, this offense is designed to go fast with little time off the play clock. Execution could have been better, and a timeout before the kick wouldn't hurt. But overall, this is better than I expected for the first half.

How does a human stop their momentum running 15 mph 2 feet away?
Whether he calls for a fair catch or not, you still cant hit him before he catches the ball. Even if he bobbles it, you cant hit him until he catches it or it hits the ground. Also, it would have been targeting anyway.

We went 55 yards in 57 seconds and got a very makeable FG attempt. The better question is will we ever get a fan base that actually understands football.
I’ll give them credit for that
I do expect our head coach to have better management as well. you can have both

We. Had. 2. Time. Outs. One idiot. What an absolute disaster of a drive with clock management. This makes me want to turn it off for the second half.
Come on now. We were just about to be 10 points behind and got lucky. This is a ball game at the half which most of us did not believe would happen.

We sure like to complain.

Yea…….Tennessee sure made their mistakes.

However it’s 14-17 halftime in the swamp.

I’ll take it.

Hopefully they can come out, and clean it up a bit.

heck most folks figured Florida would be stomping Tennessee by now…….their not…..why complain?
