There were only a couple of gaming consoles I didn't own and they were two of the best ever: SNES and Dreamcast.

Had some fun playing Ogre Battle at work on website that has a ton of old school console/coin op games.

I'd buy it for SNES, but it runs for like >150 bucks.

I might have to break out the PS2 and buy playstation release. Same with Final Fantasy Chronicles. Final Fantasy 2(US) and Chrono Trigger in the same case.

I'm not familiar with Ogre Battle.

It wasn't my thing back in the day, but it has a strong base still. Tactics type game. You control several parties of fighters. Top view down of a large map that goes into a fighting screen when one of your units meets an enemy unit. They have their own attributes and can change classes as you progress. Voted one of the most difficult SNES games I think.

If you feel like killing an hour or two you can get a feel for the game. Warning though...I never can get the game to save for me.

Play Ogre Battle - The March of the Black Queen Nintendo Super NES online | Play retro games online at Game Oldies

Go through the menus and there's a bunch of great old school games along with it.

I had many great battles in my dorm room playing Ken Griffey Jr Baseball.
