The point is that he’s not an established coach here at UT. He was unemployed when we scooped him up and he hasn’t won here. It’s not as if we hired the Rick Barnes from 10 years ago.

If you’re gonna try and argue please bring legitimate takes to the table.

Damn, Ziti might be my new favorite poster. Always love it when I check on this thread and see several pages of rapid-fire jabs posted a minute or two apart from one another for several hours straight. No clue what anyone is talking about but gotta hand it to Big Z for bringing out some of the bball forum's best and brightest for a Monday Morning Showdown For the Ages.

So, thanks to Ziti, Fleece, VSF, Chris and everyone else who is making this possible. Can't wait to spend 15-20 minutes tonight after work reading through several pages and getting up to speed on everything.

Also, VSF--I have absolutely no clue who that old school WWF guy with blonde hair is, but I like it. From my limited exposure (the 3-4 GIF's you've kindly provided in response to some of my posts) the dude seems to be an A+ pot stirrer. Consider me a fan.

Gonna need the country of origin on this. Also it'd be great if you could also use it in a sentence. All on behalf of Dallas, of course.

It was a simple hypothetical that if Coach K came here (reason why is irrelevant) and said something similar in Year 3 without having won the conference or anything, would you say he "hasn't established himself here" like you are now? If the answer is anything but "yes", you have a vendetta against Barnes.

Your panties are in a wad over what Barnes said because "he's not established here". I simply asked if Coach K was here, with the same results as Barnes in the first 3 years, and said something similar would you be complaining this much? It's a really simple question.

No. My panties are in a wad because he shouldn’t have said it. It was a dumb comment to make not to mention the implication is false. Cuonzo was embraced and we shouldn’t be ashamed.

I also said he’s not established because someone was saying he was. He’s not established here.

Idk what coach K being here has to do with anything. He’s not nor will he ever be. If he was then his star has severely faded which would take years and years.

I'll give you a hint: hypothetical is a "what if" situation. It was simply, "what if Coach K was here under the same situations and said it". If you give K a pass, even though he isn't established in that "what if" situation, then you clearly have a vendetta against Barnes.
