Side note regarding the area--The Battle at Bristol was one of the best times I've ever had at a football game, right up there with 2004 Florida.

I hope they play another game there in my lifetime. That was my first time at Bristol. Place was legit. Whole experience was amazing

Go vols, GO USA!!

Its sad. I posted over there a few weeks ago, and the answer I got was they are fans of both.

When UT plays UNC next week, I wonder who they'll root for...

True but I hate the fan that always says their team is going to lose no matter who they are playing.

Especially if they are playing the team you like. That way if they lose, “I told you man, we are terrible this year.”

Agree. Or the fan who's team's make no geographical sense whatsoever. Like a guy who likes the lakers in basketball, the steelers in football, the cardinals in baseball and Florida state is their college.

And they've never lived in the areas or in many cases ever even been to one of that team's games. Drives me crazy. Fandom isnt rewarding when you only cheer for champions. The years of agony make the moments of triumph taste sweeter.

Oh yeah. I’ve met a few of those guys. Bama fan, Yankee fan, Cowboys fan, Celtics fan.

I also hate the casual fan, the know it all fan, the defensive fan, the my team/guy can do no wrong fan, the “we should have won that game fan,” the fan that talks as if he is on the team, the if you don’t go to school there you’re not a real fan fan.

Damn not cowboy fans? Lol while I am one, I can’t stand half of the fan base my self lol.


My top3 hated fan bases

1.kentucky basketball
2. Alabama football
3cleveland/Golden state/ wherever Lebron is I’m a fan lol

I’ll be the first to admit I’m terrible at being non bias about my team. I can be non bias about other teams,( except Kentucky) but when it comes to the vols,thunder, and cowboys, I’m 100% bias lol

People hate the Bama football/UK basketball fan, but one that gets on my nerves is the random UF fans around here. It was especially bad when UF had the stretch of dominance in basketball and football around the same time. People literally "supporting" UF because it was cool.

1. Fellow UK fans.
2. Florida Fans.
3. Duke Fans.

Good win today versus Lipscomb. I could see a shorter rotation versus UNC and I expect more energy from the team too. We will really need Bone & Turner at their best against UNC. Go Vols
