How about SD, Jabby, auntie, and Kasongor?

SD--Delusional. Couldn't handle the responses he was getting and ran away.

Jabby--Probably 11 years old judging by her grammatical prowess and weak grasp of even the most basic components of the English language.

Auntie--Started as a more-liked (and more eccentric) version of MzTerry, ended up in an ingnorant cloud of smoke with no supporters to speak of.

Kasongor--The funniest guy of all time, I wish he'd come back. Would put up some ridiculous perspective about how Ray K. should have been an All-American at UT and blame Ray's lack of production on Barnes being an idiot. And the basis of all of these arguments was basically "I'm a medical student, I'm smarter than you, this is what I think, so it must be more correct than what you think." Kasongor: if you're reading this.. COME BACK. He's probably in residency by now.

LoL. This is great. I loved it when someone would give Kasongor a hard time about his English. Those were good times

Alright, Z.. As Promised:

BTO—High basketball IQ and robust understanding of the college game. Photographic memory when it comes to prior posts made by other members going back several years. Developed a villain-like reputation after the fall of The Tyndall Empire, an image that took BTO years to shed. Was once accused of being a Senior Drill alias account. Polarizing figure who is generally regarded by regulars as the one guy you don't want to get into it with. Uncanny stamina when it comes to rapid-fire responses, at times for hours on end. A true master of the spin zone who takes a calculated approach to wearing his opposition down to nothing while showing no remorse. Unmatched ability in always getting the last word in. Well-known for his ability to emerge from the flames completely unfazed, even when getting hate from as many as 10-15 posters at a time (see “The Great Donnie Tyndall Meltdown of 2015”). Fewer and fewer posters are now willing to step into the ring with BTO and as a result his disputes with other users have been less frequent. Arguably the comeback story of the year, the persona of this former villain has recently come full circle. As a result, BTO has become an unlikely fan favorite thanks in large part to outspoken admiration from a younger generation of posters such as Stoked, Little Cat, Fleece and Indy.

Bad Jerry—An almost-mythical “regular” who has disappeared from the basketball forum in recent times. Despite his extended absence, Bad Jerry remains a somewhat common point of reference within conversations of long-time basketball forum posters. While it might not seem overwhelmingly tasteful on the surface, Bad Jerry’s schtick of constant homosexuality, pedophilia and basement dungeon references is a proven crowd pleaser among long time regulars. Known for his prolific amount of posts in the late night/early morning hours while most of us are asleep, Bad Jerry’s satire is widely heralded in threads outside of the basketball forum. Although the reasons surrounding his exodus from the basketball forum are unclear, its safe to say that this poster would be welcomed back by a multitude of VN users.

Thunder—A high-volume poster who has actually done most of his work in the football forum of late. A staunch vocal critic of both John Currie and Jimmy Haslam, Thunder’s various unwavering opinions have resulted in his fair share of arguments in the past. Despite a strong difference in opinion with other VolNation OG’s such as Ziti, Bruin and BTO, when it comes to certain topics (see fig. A: Tony Basillo), Thunder’s wisdom and constant visibility have garnered him a sense of mutual respect with these same users. At times Thunder might seem to make subtle jabs at other posters, but his ability to take a joke makes up for the occasional punch in the gut (or thread about the National Anthem). Good-natured fan who regularly keeps up with former vols who have transferred out of the program.

BTO accuses of being SD. That must have been something to behold. Almost sorry I missed it all (or most of it at least).

BTO and Buzz4Tennessee were both accused of being SeniorDrill aliases, the BTO one was short lived compared to the "SeniorBuzz" allegations. All of it stems from an inexplicable loyalty to Donnie Tyndall.

I'm still not 100% convinced that Buzz and SD are 2 different people but that's another conversation.

I thought the same about buzz and SD back in the day.

dude I had a hilarious one all typed out then i got the round spinny thing of death and my MacBook reloaded the page

Always happens when VN servers get crowded, I wish they would do away with the like feature for good so it can run smoother during times of high-traffic

I'll retype it and hit you with a new one tonight

anyone is welcome to chime in with their own scouting reports as well, its hilarious, I think I'm gonna do BTO, Bad Jerry and Thunder next

still need Ziti, Stoked, Little Cat, Indy, The Dog, Catbone, CNCChris, Chris4Vols, Ed Yeary, iKrager, Ace, Lefteye, VolSportsFan, Freak and a few others

Quick scouting report on the Dog, 6'3 small/power forward for one year at Fulton. Played my sophomore year and averaged 20 ppg and 10 rbg on jv. Scored 2 points on varsity, that same year, finishing with 100% free throw percentage. Have played against former Wade Houston players, Lang Wiseman and Ronnie Robinson. I totally destroyed Robinson, but still lost 3 pick-up games because Lang killed us. Robinson was only own the UT team one year and transferred. 6'7 skinny post player, who while I was dominating him and talking smack could see he was soft and no wat he could make it in yhe SEC. Once scored 36 points in a men's city rec league in Jeff City on former Ky. player, Chris Gettelfinger. G-finger did get 30 and they won in OT. Now, 46 and rarely play anymore. Likes: dogs, especially my fiest, Gauge, comic book and Game of Thrones nerd, sit-com fanatic, along with being an Eagles fan since Jaws, Montgomery and Carmichael, Cubs fan since '84 and Pistons fan since Isiah was drafted. Die-hard Vol football fan since Jimmy Streater and bb fan since Dale Ellis. Also played baseball in high school at Fulton.

I must have missed the BTO is SD stuff.

Buzz and SD are most definitely either the same or are related/know each other IRL.

Buzz seems angrier. SeniorDrill is snarkier and flippant. SD wants you to listen. Buzz is more of a whiney *****. SD seems less in touch with reality. Buzz seems more heavily medicated.

Having a pretty ****ty start to the work day. This actually made me laugh out loud on my crapfest of a conference call. I think I can now make it till 5 o’clock

Patiently waiting for the Edyeary report by Indy....

Ed Yeary--Vocal supporter of LMU athletics, would rename the site to LMUnation if it were up to him. Remains up-to-date on Tennessee basketball despite this. Serial mass poster who isn't afraid to make 4-6 posts in a row following a strong performance by LMU. Has openly expressed a clear confusion during times of cypher by younger posters. Docile temperament. Generally well-liked by everyone. Has used a photo of a man believed to be Ed Yeary himself as his avatar in the past. May or may not have a portrait of Pete DeBusk hanging above the mantle in his formal living room.

My Indy Scouting Report in a Cypher:

Indy is a master troll with a strong ressy to show
You can catch him on VN hopped up on addy or blow
His real name is Kevin, but he’s not home alone
He’s married with a wife he apparently never bones
Because he is too busy scrolling through VN on his phone Trying to call out Dallas or brag about his golf game
He posts photos of his sperry’s and his old flame
He used to be wild but the mods have him tamed
Freak gave him a second chance, Louisville and Petrino
Despite his 1000 infractions, Rick Pitino
His demise is inevitable
I’ll miss him though because his write ups are incredible
He shows respect to some of the great ones
BTO, Bruin, Thun, Yeary, and occasionally Bowl-un
He recently posted a YouTube vid of a mic drop
Turns out it was his 20th take of his golf shot
Found it funny that he didn’t show the ball in flight
Probably because it sliced wide right

Edit: I wasn’t finished, accidentally posted it. Oh well. Too lazy to make the adjustments and adds.

cncchris:

One of the rocks of the VN basketball forum. Clearly the most reasonable poster in any discussion or debate. The guy effortlessly listens, carefully considers all sides, and deliberately presents balanced and just arguments. He's not going to drop jaws with overwhelming negativity or sunshine pumping, but a true Vol fan through and through. He basically never makes a bad point and is the epitome of class. He has the intelligence, cunning, and skill set of a 5-star, but his moderately reserved sense of humor holds him back from the ranks of the elite.

4 stars, would take.

Ed used too be a pothead, which makes Ed even cooler than I already thought he was, and I already thought he was cooler than the other side of the pillow

Yo at this point I’m like fire Currie and hire Tee. Bring in Blackburn and Phil, and just say FTW. Tired of going after people who don’t wanna be here. We need all UT people at this point. If Currie didn’t screw this up as bad as he did, I wouldn’t say that. But he’s hurt our image immensely. In my dream world, if Brohm falls through, I wanna just get Tee and get over with this. Tired of this coaching search

I was sold on Brohm, but that ship has sailed. I'm all in on Tee!

I'd go interim, fire Currie, and restart the process. Firing Currie would safe face for UT in this cluster ****. Of course the national media would make Currie out to be a martyr.

Kiffin's contract would need to be loaded with restrictions including drug testing and alcohol rehab. Probably sex addiction counseling too. Severe financial penalties for leaving and violating NCAA rules. Limits on his social media or at least big penalties for posting embarrassing comments. Fulmer put in an overseer role. Smallish salary. Unfortunately Kiffin has gathered a lot of poker chips in the last 72 hours.
