The Official New York Knicks Thread.

If you are into 14 seconds of dribbling in iso, then missing a 21' 2-point jump shot with a hand to the face.

It's all about J Kidd. 18 points on 9 shots. 6 rebounds. 6 assists. 1 steal. 0 turnovers.

Melo was indeed on fire. Raymond Felton did his best to cough up the victory, but was unsuccessful.

Huff, you would love you some Bernard King: His Christmas Day Massacre in 1984 box score:

60 points, 19-30 from the field, 22-26 from the FT line, seven rebounds.

The Knicks have won 19 of their first 25 games for the third time in their history; they won the NBA Championship the previous two times

They don't know it, but they don't want Amare back. If he isn't willing to play a role similar to Chandler's, he's got nothing to offer them.

if he isn't willing to be a top ten player in the league he's useless

What I mean is he needs to prioritize rebounding, and play close to the basket. No more 15' jumpers (41%). No more 9' jumpers (42%).

I get ya.

If he comes off the bench and is an offensive presence for spurts it'll help them. And it might help him stay healthy.

JR Smith hits 2 FGs in the last 10 seconds to tie, and go ahead. Knicks win with 24 hours rest on the road without Felton, without Melo, and with only 13 minutes from Brewer (why? did he get hurt?). This team is deep.

Hell of a shot by Smith

Yeah, and ballsy as hell on the possession prior when Smith had been having a horrible night shooting. He took a terrible shot on both (the second was unavoidable) and makes both after going 9 for 25.

It drives me crazy because after the game the idiots like Legler are singing his praises as if he won the game by himself. If he just shot with average efficiency for the game, the Knicks would've had it already locked up and not needed a buzzer beater. They say he's the only player who can create his own shot (without Melo), but he creates terrible shots. There's no need for that. He's got to play smarter but probably won't because of the response he got for playing crappy.

JR Smith sucks. I hate that guy. At least his defense has improved enough to sometimes just getting in the way.

I guess I called that one. Mike Woodson responds by giving JR Smith 43 minutes. He went 11 for 25 with 4 turnovers. Smith went O for 4 with a turnover in the last 4 minutes. They need to play Prignioni and Brewer more.
