The Official NASCAR Talk Thread

Apparently part of the Ku Busch offer is that his sponsor would be Haas Automation. FRR is supposed to have a new offer for Kurt on Monday.

Like I said during the race, no way Kurt stays at FFR after last night. The pit crew has cost him at least a couple of wins this season. Not mention they have no manufacturer/technical alliance signed for next year yet either. Also like Yankee mentioned, I doubt they can match any SHR dollar for dollar either.

I hope it works out for him and SHR. Hopefully him and Stewart, Harvick, can work well topgether. Busch has had run-ins with both in the past. Busch is one of those guys most hate to work against, but would love to have him as a teammate.

Managed to catch the end of the Bristol race. Great racing, just wish I had the time to get back into NASCAR fully. I may have to!

EGR to announce the new driver of the #42 Friday at 2:30. Best guess is Kyle Larson even though he isn't ready.

Yeah, you would think that all the busts that came up too early, they would have learned by now. Logano looks like he is finally getting it. Those first 2 years on no mans land almost ruined him mentally.

READ THIS IS NOTHING ELSE -> Gene Haas said he made the decision to hire Kurt Busch on his own. Admits Smoke was a bit upset.

So yeah, that won't end well.

The new NASCAR tv deal here means I have decided to get back into it. Finally I can see full races again!

Could anyone summarise the season so far in like one paragraph, so I have an idea of the big events, controversies I have missed?

The fact that Haas said he would put up sponsor dollars for Busch and not Newman had to be a telling sign.
