As much as I don't like Kyle Busch, the man can wheel a race car. He's improved so much from last year to now. Atlanta was a prime example of that. Usually Kyle would have wrecked trying to get it all back too soon but he just kept plugging away at it and got a great finish. I really thought he had the W Sunday but man those Penske guys were fast.

I think he's shown a lot more maturity since coming back from the injury.

As bad as it sounds, that injury was probably the best thing to happen for his career. It showed him that he was not invincible and he matured a lot (same thing a lot of great drivers have had happen). He will probably win multiple championships now, where I'm not sure he would have ever won one before.

I definitely agree with that. The only thing that bugs me that he does is running those Xfinity races. It's bugs me when all the big name guys do it but at the same time I think it's good for that series, if that makes sense.

I agree. It may bring some more eyes to the lower series, but you sort of wonder why the top guys are slumming it in the minors.

JJ starting at the back of the pack. Hopefully he stays there

I'm a Junior fan but it was a rough day for the Hendrick camp. 5 & 48 go up in smoke, the 88 was mediocre at best, and the 24 rolls of 17th. They'll all be there at the end of the race though. Hopefully Johnson stays in the back though👍

I don't mind the other Hendrick drivers (now that Gordon is gone).

I'm not gonna say it was all Dale Sr., I didn't even like the man. I realize other drivers passed before him and all that. None of the advancements in safety they have today really came until after he got killed though.

Both the HANS device and SAFER barriers were under development before he passed away.
