Anyone know what the deal was with the Cup cars going through pre qualifying inspection. I heard there was some issue and teams were pissed, but never caught wat it was.

I didn't see the reason but it did say that 13 cars missing the first round of qualifying due to the inspection issues. And those teams include Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart and Matt Kenseth.

I am not a Roush fan, but, i was cautiously optimistic when Bayne signed to drive the #6 car. Well that looks to be a mistake. He would have been better off to have stayed with the Wood Brothers, especially since they aligned with Penske this year.

Tony doesn't have say (more than likely) in Kurt coming back. Haas hired him without asking Tony if I recall correctly and is funding him out of pocket.
