He didn't run off like an *******. All the crews/nascar winston cup (how old this event is you are referring to) officials broke them up before he had a chance to get to Rudd.

......the only penalties will probably got to the crew members who swung.

Just something to make it seem as if they are against this sort of thing. Fines that I imagine will be ultimately paid by the teams ....no real harm, no foul.

Drivers and crews have fought since the inception of the sport.

Never said it's ok. But you really can't act surprised if fights do happen. Sports is all emotion and tempers do boil over. You can't expect most of these adrenaline charged guys just to "talk it out". Give me a break.

You can justify it however you like, but it doesn't change the fact that grown men "fighting" each other is stupid.
