Well, VN did our part. Judging from the number of people posting in here, we accounted for about half the audience.

I watch it and was very entertained. Sure, the 4 cylinder pinto class could probably run faster laps. But i like watching guys, who are totally out of their element, try to wheel their trucks around. I thought it was a good race.

Most of those guys have raced on dirt before. It's not like it's some new thing for these guys that was dreamed up.

I know. But those guys have always driven 'dirt cars' not Nascar trucks on dirt. I am not smart enough to know what changes go into making the trucks dirt ready. But, my guess is, they were never designed for a dirt track. Thus even guys with dirt experiance (larson, schrader, etc) had their hands full wheeling the trucks around.

You're right!


Bloomquist looked like a scrub in this event last year.
 
Bloomquist's brilliant idea was to run without a front sway bar. I'll never understand how the crew chief OKed that.
