The Official Missouri Zone Game Thread

So Ole Miss's offense coordinator was the coordinator at Baylor in there glory years and he was Heupel's offensive coordinator that's where he picked up lining the wide receiver's way out in the splits that's the way Baylor played. I have not seen Ole Miss do that but they run the tempo and Heupel runs the tempo and splits wide it will be interesting watching the Ole Miss an vols game. They both have Art Briles offense system with the head coaches tweaks.

I agree with you 110 percent, rocy. I think the Ole Pi$$ game will be a good one. I'm not writing off that one as a L just yet, but I usually don't until it's a final on the scoreboard. HA

Yes
His play was much improved today. Let’s hope that trend continues. It would be nice to have a good quarterback who’s developed and ready to compete to start next season…….for a change
A super senior. And develop some back ups to take over. This should help recruiting. We need a upset over a ranked team.

I’ve read several articles about how to defend the veer and shoot. End of the day, it pretty much comes down to two choices: overwhelming talent on the ends or sell out by loading the box.

Yeah, that's pretty much how you do it.
One thing I will say is we are setting the edge with an end or LB a lot better this year than we have in a LONG TIME.
