Someone had to do it.

If you're going to panic and run for the hills because you're a fan of a coach rather than the school, I will be more than glad to take your tickets off your hands.

if I were a coaching candidate and stumbled on this site I'd be taking a second look at the job. Why would I want to come to a school where fans already have the crucifixion materials ready before the first press conference?

I'm not suggesting we all hold hands and sing KumBahYa around the Torchbearer. But for chrissake stop acting like my middle school students when the cafeteria runs out of pizza and you don't know what the replacement food is going to be. You're feeding your own fires and setting yourselves up to be disappointed no matter who is named HC.

That, and the doom-and-gloom is funny. It makes me worry about some of you IRL.

The late great Lewis Grizzard wrote once about the line, "go sit in the truck" and how demoralizing it was to the intended receipient. I can only say to everyone that is not involved with the hiring process - "Go sit in the truck!"

I am headed there to wait and see who will be coaching our team in 2010
