Dang,I didn't realize it was Thursday till this thread came up.As in the day after I missed the last episode of the season.S**T.

The official lost web-site offers free episodes but apparently you need to allow some drivers or related software to watch.Has anyone had any problems with this down-load,like active-x controls or anything security related?

No problems , there isnt any spy or adware in them. I had to watch most of last year online as long as you have a decent connection and monitor.

just an FYI, this wasn't the season finale. i think there are about 3 more episodes left in this season

so i just caught up on season 4 and I was wanting to watching the season 5 premiere, but I can only get episodes 12-15 on ABC's site. Does anyone know anywhere else I can catch the previous episodes?

I don't know, do you have Netflix or Blockbuster Online? That is the only way I know of that you could see them.

Like Ben, I'm not going to accept that Faraday is dead just yet. Not that they'll do the same thing, just that.....well......I'm just going to wait till he's in the dirt. :dunno:

Although I do have a guess on the deal with Alpert. And that's all it is, a guess, but for those that don't even want to specuate I can understand.........

The thought occured to me that perhaps he's from a more distant future than the original Losties. He somehow got tangled up in the island and got time stuck like Sawyer, Juliet, Faraday, ect but got stuck way further in the past. Maybe that's why he's not aging? Only way to test that is to see if any other the Losties or Juliet stuck in 1974 age. No way of knowing that at this point. Like I said, just a guess.

As to his motives, I have no idea. Can anyone remember actually being told what The Others motives, of any time period, is other than protecting the island?

I can't believe the quality of the last few episodes. This season is sorely lacking so far.

And we don't know what Sawyer drew on that map - so he may or may not be a snitch.

I thought it was an awesome episode.
The WTF look Ben gave at the end was priceless.
Sayid being a badass and joining forces with Jack which leads to next week Jack vs Sawyer and Juliet, like they are REALLY subbin off in the sunset..
Kate is such a bitch. "i love you jack, i love you sawyer, i hate you jack. now i have a heart, now i dont."
Whats going on with Locke? Magic powers? Crazies? why does he want to kill jacob?
Oh I don't know if you've noticed, but Sun wants to find Jin. She might have mentioned it, but I'm not sure. Jin seems like a really expensive extra lately.


BUT, if this is how it all ends, making everything "right" and 316 never crashes and so on,it will just ruin this whole show.I doubt that is going to happen, just seems like a swerve for a climatic setup for a season ending.

I think you all are missing the big picture on what just happened with Kate. Jack just broke her heart and is essentially sending her to jail if this plan works. What else was she going to do?

kind of selfish of her when he is talking about saving all the people that died so far vs her going to jail. i seem to remember her breaking his heart long before. she definatly has no clue what she wants. i am kind of liking all this mess this season. next season should prove to be a momumental end to a great show.

every person on the show has always looked out for themselves first. Sawyer's done it since day 1. Were you really thinking he had "grown up a lot over the past three years"?

i think jack may be the exception to that. he has had some selfish motives, but not as bad as most of them. not at all. it was priceless to see the look on his face when freckles got on the sub.

Seasons 1-4 would prove you correct. But it seems this season is all about him and trying to find some kind of normalcy.
