The "official" Lost thread

whats your reason? just curious

i think i would tend to say its ridiculous too if i hadn't seen an episode in that long. lost has come a long way since season 1. you have to almost watch every single episode up til now to fully appreciate whats going on.

what would be one?

Well the long thought theory that the smoke monster can morph into human form, then theres Jacob is the smoke monster and can do the same thing, then theres Christian is Jacob or can control him now and can control the smoke monster as Ben did before.

how i break it down......

season 1- awesome
season 2- awesome
season 3- ok
season 4- decent, but still not as good as the first 2

season 5 has been impressive so far. the quality of the episodes have been much better than the last 2 seasons IMO. i feel like everything is finally beginning to be tied together.

Season 3 was probably my favorite one so far.

the second half of it was good, but the first half of that season was a borderline snorefest. i got tired of seeing kate, jack, and sawyer being held captive on the second island almost every single episode.

Ok i will bite, so why the lulz then?

the acting, the 'effects', the 'going back in time'. I am getting season 1 in the mail tomorrow, so we'll see how that goes. I am sure if I ever make it to see the smoke monster I am sure I will lulzmao.

Ok then. What exactly do you like about season 3?

Episodes 3-8 are a little slower but I thought the last few episodes and especially the finale with the Looking Glass was awesome.

Mikhail (SP) was a character I thought was interesting as well.

Season 2 and 3 were my favorites.

There were like three absolutely useless episodes in that season. Like the killing off of nikki and hispanic dude. Slow season with a good ending.

the thing that interested me about mikhail was that it seemed like nothing could kill him. the dude was zapped by the sonar fence, beaten to a pulp by locke, and shot in the chest with a speargun. but he was still around to kill charlie somehow. i wouldn't be surprised if he's still out there running around somewhere.

So does Ben start disappearing like Marty Mcfly? Hope he isn't in the middle of a guitar solo as well. This brings up alot of questions concerning the whole "you cant change the past" Farraday kept drilling us with.

Just a guess, but I doubt he's dead.

Its not a question if if Ben is dead its a question of HOW Ben is alive.

btw last two episodes kinda sub par. Too much Dharma storytelling, need more island mythology.

Let me rephrase that. He can't die because it affects the future. Faraday said so. Part of the timeline theory.

Must be along the same line as John Locke. He died and then came back to life when he returned to the island.
