The "official" Lost thread

Thoughts on last night..
1. The plane didn't crash, at least it didn't crash yet. The Oceanic 6 and who ever was supposed to be one flight 815 have been transported to Dharma times. On episode 4 we see people shooting at Sawyer and the crew, I think that those people are the people from the Ajira Airways plane that weren't supposed to be transported.

2. Desmond wasn't supposed to go on the plane anyways because he never did. I'm guessing that Desmond goes on his boat back to the island, that is if Ben killed Penny.

3.Dharma Time Ladies !!!!!!!

Hurley is Charlie's substitute
Ben is Hurley's (and maybe also Sawyer's) substitute
Kate is Claire's substitute
Sayid is Kate's substitute
John is Christian's substitute
Frank Lapidus is Seth Norris' substitute (which is funny, because Seth Norris was Frank's substitute on the last flight)

I take it Charlie has visited Hurley?

I suspect Kate gave custody of Aaron to his grandmother.

The shoes.... Christian white Locke black, sounds like something symbolic that will lead these two "undead" into some battle over the island..
cant wait till next week...

Regarding Kate and the baby. This show is to complex to make a simple assumption like that.If that were the case I think she would have told jack that's what she had done! With this kids tie ins I thought it was the most compelling mystery to come out of that episode.

Can't wait till tonight!

Honestly when you sit down and think about it how exactly would you want the show to end? because basically any theory of how it ends has got a very negative response. At least we are promised no pergatory ending or the Hurley made it all up in his head at the asylum theory.

Tonight is gonna be great, hopefully we will get to the bottom of the Abaddon/Locke situation.

There had to be a reason that Ben HAD TO kill Locke, otherwise he could have let him finish with the suicide. I guess we'll have to wait another week for a few more answers. I don't know if Whitmore or Linus is good or bad at this point.

At this point, I'd say Ben succeeding in killing Locke, as it isn't his first attempt, would make me believe Ben was the evil one.

My guess is he didn't want Locke to kill himself so they could both work together to convince the 6 to return. Use him and dispose of him. But once Ben realized Locke knew the person that could get him back on the island, we all saw Ben's reaction when Locke said Hawking's name, he knew he'd better just kill Locke now.

I'm suggesing that Ben never wanted Locke to come back. Abbadon would have been a wall for Ben, so he killed him as well.

Although I can't remember, who told Locke about Eloise Hawking?

That was a great episode. Why did Ben do it???

Best guess i have is he knew Locke had to die but he couldn't kill himself, yet he seemed to impulsively kill him when Locke told him about the Jin situation and him knowing Eloise Hawking as if he knew too much.

did it ever really explain how locke got back to the island? he said at the end when he was talking to ceasar that he thought he knew how he got back when he heard about hurley and everyone dissapearing on the plane, but it never did go into much detail....

I just remembered something from when Micheal returned to the island and couldn't kill himself because the island wasn't finished with him so maybe it was destined that Ben was suppose to kill Locke and even if Locke tried to hang himself he couldn't have. Im reaching for straws now but yeah.

In the same manner as the Jack,Kate,Hurley,Ben,and the rest.He was on the plane.Review last weeks episode.

Well I wasn't diappointed in tonights episode in so much as I knew there would be more questions than answers.

That's sort of what I was thinking as to why Ben had to kill Locke. I think he also knew that he needed Jin's wedding ring because Locke would have stuck to his word and they would have never got Sun back on the island.

christian

With Locke coming back to life on the island, it's possible that Christian is alive and kicking as well.

One of the best Sawyer episodes by far, have to say i like Juliet and sawyer together as well. I hope the poor girl dosent get the shaft again.

Time travel,Paradoxes,Quantum Physics and Quantum Mechanics.String Theory,M Theory and Science Fiction, wrapped in an Action Adventure story line, multi-layered Enigmatically.

I still don't see with clarity what's coming only the possibilities and they are many,Quantumly speaking!

I''m sure someone will give her the shaft. :whistling:

Very good episode the other night. Hopefully we get an episode showing what happened during the three years after Locke left. Also, I don't remember seeing Faraday in any of the present day moments. Wonder if there is anything to that, or not.

I'd smash Juliet btw.
