The "official" Lost thread

SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!

Michael is the man on the boat, and the last two of the Oceanic 6 are Sun and Jin. I have my sources.

Also I have heard that either Sun or Jin will be killed in a flashforward. I can't confirm this though.

didn't mean to read that:banghead2:

how many episodes did they say they were putting into this season? i know it is supposed to be a few shorter because of the strike, but not sure how many are left????

via wiki

"Due to the writers' strike, the season will instead last only 13 episodes, consisting of the 8 pre-strike episodes already filmed, and an additional 5 post-strike episodes currently being filmed. The show will go on a 4 week hiatus after the conclusion of the 8th episode and return April 24."

There is also talk of fitting the three others into the following seasons, making them one or two eps longer

13 total. They other 3 will be added somewhere in the final two season.

What I've read regarding this season is there will 13 episodes. So far they've shown 6 I believe. What they plan is to show either the first 7 or 8(can't remember which, it was one and then they changed it to the other).

I think they're then going to take a 6 week break afterwards to film/write some more and pick up at either episode 8 or 9(wherever they stop).

The writers said the season finale will be 2 hours, but it will be split up(like the pilot). Not 2 straight hours.

I hate the mid-season breaks. I can't stand to be off of something that should continue the entire season. grrrrrrr....I guess i will have to find something else to do on a thursday night.

I was shown a site that tried to explain some theories on the show. This person proposes that the islands properties allow time travel to be possible. There is a lot more to it than what I can explain here. Here is a link Lost: A theory on time travel

Man tell me about it!

There was a big problem with this for Lost fans, so that is why they waited until Jan to start the season, so they can run uninterrupted till may, much like 24 does. Wasn't for the strike it would be.

That is one of the reasons they aren't doing 24 at all this year, they don't want to break it up

At least they tried

Spoiler Alert!!!!!!!(Read at own caution)

I heard a major character is supposed to die tomorrow night. It might be the flashforward death I was referring to.

That's pretty flawed reasonsing imo.

They're worried about a lousy 4 week break, so instead they force fans to wait 8 months between seasons instead of 4? They shorten seasons to 16 from 24, adding one more year of wait?

All this move did was take the same content and drag it out.

What show are you talking about here? Lost or 24?

I think tonights episode will be very good.
I won't be able to see it but my mother in law is going to tape it for me. Did anyone get a chance to look at the link I posted a page or so back? I was surprised that there were no comments about it. Check it out and tell me what you think.

So, Jin had the Panda to give but he is dead in the flash forward? That confused me and I will wait til next week before asking about Michael.

That was Jins flashback. He said he had been married only 2 months. Suns was a flashforward.

Ok, on Jins tombstone it said the date of his death was 9-22-04. That was the day of the crash. Now I'm confused.
