I assume you're talking about Faraday? Also, Locke was near the hatch when it imploded? So wouldn't he be in the same boat as Desmond?

Locke: I suppose it's possible. Although Locke doesn't seem too desperate to get off the island.

Time travel answers everything. The Polar Bears weren't actual polar bears, I think they were some sort of prehistoric bear. And then the black mist is clearly some sort of futuristic security system or maybe even some sort of military mist controlled by someone, kind of like a remote control airplane.

Lost is a really cool show and I do not think it will disappoint it's fans! :dance2:

Time travel would certain answer some things, but would likely create a whole new set of problems. Just think "Back to the Future." I, for one, will be sorely displeased if the whole thing is based on time travel. I would be okay if time travel is part of it, but please, not the whole thing. That's barely better than someone waking up from a dream, or the pergatory idea.

I think there's a lot more thought put into it than just having time travel answer everything.

And the polar bears are(were?) actually polar bears.

Ok, that was an average episode at best. Really the only things I learned tonight was that the freighter is Widmores boat and that there is some type of gas that could kill everyone on the island. I already knew that Ben had something for Juliet, and I know who the man on the boat is. It was not a bad episode, but it was boring. I now have high expectations for next week.

it's hard to have a real high opinion of this week's episode after last week. but still, it wasn't that bad. it just ticked me off that ben didn't reveal who the guy on the boat was by the end of the hour. as always, there were still alot of questions unanswered and some new questions introduced.

my guess is micheal as that's the only person that's ringing a bell right now. but no i don't want to know. i hate spoilers.......

also, seeing as how secretive they are about the show, how would you know the answer to that question anyway? or are you just making an educated guess?:blink:

Agreed, this episode was pretty much a letdown after last week. Everyone seems to think it's Michael on the boat. Seems like a good guess.

how do you know who is on the boat? I think it might be Sayid, I know it doesn't make sense, but it came into my mind watching the episode last night.

The preview said it was someone we thought we would never see again...so it can't be Sayid. We're also supposed to find out who the last Oceanic 6 survivor is.

For some reason I think it might be Charlie on the boat. Face we thought we'd never see again? Although, it's probably Michael.

SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!

Michael is the man on the boat, and the last two of the Oceanic 6 are Sun and Jin. I have my sources.

Also I have heard that either Sun or Jin will be killed in a flashforward. I can't confirm this though.

Spoilers are easy to find if you want. They're secretive with the show, but remember how many people are involved in making a tv show. Goes well beyond a handful of actors and writers. You can find out a whole bunch about the future episodes.

I remember last year someone broke not one big reveal, but all the major reveals, who dies, ect in the season 3 finale well before it aired.

Personally, I avoid spoilers. Takes some of the fun out of it if I know what's coming.

Although *possible spoiler, so read no further unless you've read every post in this thread or you want to remain completely uninformed of who may be Ben's man*

wouldn't be a surpise at all if you've looked at any Lost forums. His name has been floating around as the man on the boat since Ben first mentioned it. And, I believe, the writers said he would make a return to the show, but never said in what capacity.
