Oceanic 6= Sun, Jin, Kate, Jack, Hurley, & Sayid
When Sayid went to a veterinary office? after being shot and all we could hear was the vets voice I thought it was going to be Jacks dad.
Any theories on who the people are that Sayid is killing? I guess we can assume they are the people who are after Ben, i.e., the same people who are behind the "rescue" of the Oceanic 6.
if it turns out that all of these people are actually dead and the show represents some kind of pergatory between earth/heaven, that could explain everything thing, but it would also pi$$ me off. I just can't really imagine an ultimate explanation that will both explain everything and not pi$$ me off.
Did they do something to Ben's voice to make him sound different before they showed his face? I didn't rewind to listen to it again, but the voice sound different at first, like they were trying to trick everyone (and did, in my case).
Here is the main thing that bothers me about lost. Given all the crazy $hit that has happened, from polar bears, to black clouds, to dead people coming back (Charlie), and on-and-on, is it possible to imagine any scenario to explain everything that isn't completely stupid/irritating? For example, if it turns out that all of these people are actually dead and the show represents some kind of pergatory between earth/heaven, that could explain everything thing, but it would also pi$$ me off. I just can't really imagine an ultimate explanation that will both explain everything and not pi$$ me off.
I heard a interview with Michael Emerson (Ben) and a separate interview with Terry O'Quinn (Locke). Of course neither of them gave anything away but Michael said "Bad things will be happening to people we've grown to love and we would be seeing people we thought were gone". I may have heard wrong but I think Terry O'Quinn said there are 40 episodes left in the series and they will start shooting again in March.
Pergatory was dismissed by the writers a long time ago.
I don't know exact statements, but they've said things to the effect that Lost isn't a science fiction show. It's not a bunch of make believe stuff that could never possibly happen.
Personally, I think they're having fun with some scientific theories that may be truthful on paper, but so far are impossible (or very hard) to prove. Something like time dilation as just one example. Or EM fields. Another theory I've read deals with mirror matter.
