The "official" Lost thread

Two things, first off how many feel we have seen the last of Desmond? As much as it pains me to say i think we have seen the last of Des and Penny. It just seems like they have finished their storyline with the last scene when he wakes up from his injuries.

secondly if you have a chance you should check out this summation of the finale

With Desmond's lawsuit and everything, it would be hard to put him back in the show I would think.

Des is one of my favorite characters on the show, but I believe that he is done, at least as a regular. Maybe he will have some cameo appearances in the future?

Remember......its Hollywood. Not only do you have to question any assumption about the show. You also have remember these people are publicity whores.
Take it for what it's worth,if anything.......:)

2. Could the Losties have been on the Black Rock? It's not very likely, but something to ponder.

started thinking about it and what if the Black Rock was just another group of Losties. I believe Jacob said that it had all happened before at the very beginning of the episode. Maybe the plane was just another in the long line of "Losties" to land/crash on the island but it keeps ending the same way.

edit: well that was kind of explained in mullet's link

So seeing is this is going to be the last year of Lost, im really curious to see what project Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof end up on next. I would love to see them work together again but whatever they do it will always be compared to their "masterpiece" . As corny as it sounds a spinoff following the crew of the Black Rock would be pretty sweet.

I just want to go on record now and say i have a gut feeling that Charlie will be back in some form in season 6. The DS ring we saw in the finale and what i have read i just have a feeling he is going to have some role BEYOND a random flashback or a Hurley ghost sighting.

I think we will see Michelle Rodriguez again in more than a cameo role.

Lets not forget about those D@m #'s 4 8 15 16 23 42.
I beleive their importance will be a major surprise and shown more frequently.I look forward to the reveal of their significance as much as anything.

I read an article a couple of years ago talking about the mysteries of Lost and the writers said the numbers had no significance, which sucks. Maybe they've come up with something since then that will make sense but I'm not counting on it.

A really cool interview on Comics on Comics with Damon Lindelof, one of the writers of Lost on what happened to Libby and Ecko , how they were suppose to have a bigger role on the show and an explination of the show's flow.

IIRC, they said the same thing about the 4 toed foot/statue a couple of seasons back.

I recently just got into Lost and thanks to online episodes, I was able to watch all 5 seasons in the span of about 3 weeks. I even watched the webisodes and beat the 360 game.
