I think the nearly week long layoff will do this team good. This matchup will be really good. Hopefully we can get some payback for the first round series a few years back when Thomas nailed that 3 pointer in Staples in game 6 with the Lakers up 3-2. I've never forgot that game or series.

if Phoenix is a good matchup, Orlando will kill the Lakers.

It's good as in I detest the Suns. Matchup wise, I'm hoping Amare is overwhelmed in the post. Our bigs will wear him down and he'll have a hard time producing on offense. We all know about his defense. Gasol should have a field day.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him leave after this season. I'm sure he and the Lakers front office/ownership/everybody else are about fed up with eachother. Luckily they have enough things in place that they can lose him and still be a contender.

I'm not so sure, not saying that Phil is the difference but Kobe is aging before our eyes.

It's all about great ownership and management. The lakers could lose their whole coaching staff and roster tomorrow and be back to contending for the west in less than five years.
