The Official Lakers Thread

I'm still not worried, and I haven't been worried all season. The Lakers are simply the most talented team. They should be fine if they play to the team's fullest potential.

Bynum has been ridiculous as of late. If he is healthy for the playoffs, I don't think anybody can beat the Lakers. He averaged 13 and 13 shooting 65% in March. Their front line is just too strong with him in the lineup, kind of like how Boston's was before dealing Perkins.

This team needs to refocus or they will make a quick exit in the playoffs

Don't blow this. This is the only time I'll ever be rooting for the Lakers to win games... Or lose and slip to 4. please please please no three seed though.

Interesting first half against the Spurs. I would expect the Lakers to pull away in this one, but I'm certainely happy if they don't.

Another year, another knee injury. Nothing personal Bynum, but this is why I wanted you traded.

Making me more and more okay with a first round matchup... I think Wallace is in Ron Ron's head, and we are better than the Lakers at three out of five spots, and even then, Wes Matthews and Brandon Roy v Kobe and Aldridge and Camby v Gasol aren't all too lopsided.

I do think Portland is the last team Los Angeles wants to play in the first round. That said, I will say Lakers in 6 even without Bynum.

just saw the story on sportscenter that Kobe may have called a ref a phag last night. missed it.

Are you kidding? Kobe is one of the biggest crybabies in the game. He got a personal he didn't like, chucked the ball at Gerald Wallace (don't give me that unintentional crap, the NBA pulling the T was ridiculous. Like the ball would just happen to go near the guy that was physically beating the crap out of LA's enforcer all night) and pulled a T.

That's what happens with Kobe... Make it so he gets calls his whole career, and he will throw a child's tantrum when he doesn't get them.

That reminds me, I saw this shirt the other day:

Going to get this one ready for when the Lakers come up to get their asses handed to them in the RG.

GERALD
WALLACE

WILL
KILL
MATT
BARNES

Might see Kobe cut a check to the league but I doubt he makes a statement personally.
