Enters the chat. Last seen at #1,546I don’t know who makes the decision about when to replace a pitcher. However, I do believe that often they wait one batter too long to replace a pitcher who has already thrown over 100 pitches. It has cost us runs in the past and it cost us today. Not only does it cost us runs, it puts a lot of unnecessary strain on a pitcher who throws a lot of fast balls and sliders. We have a lot of arms in the bullpen and our starters need to be in top condition for the SEC tournament as well as the NCAAs.
