I’ve talked to my good friend (MSU alum) about this. They have a new, young AD. He said it would be a crazy move for him to fire the only coach who’s won a national title there. He’s already fired his pitching coach, so I think he’s good for now.

The state of Mississippi only allows 4 year contracts for all their employees. I think he’s there for one more year……if he doesn’t win next year he’s definitely gone IMO.
