It is serious.
I looked it up for the NCAA tourney. I am pretty sure there is a 10 run rule for the SEC tourney (BaseVols run-ruled Missy State a couple of years ago comes to mind)... For TN nonconference home games, I think CTV lets the opposing coach decide (since they are buying gas for the trip)

SEC - adopted the 10-run rule for their regular season games.

Non-Conference Games:
For non-conference games, coaches may agree to use the 10-run rule before the game.

No Run Rule in NCAA Tournament:
There is no run rule in place for the NCAA Baseball Tournament or the College World Series, meaning games can continue for the full nine innings or until a tiebreaker is reached.

Maybe. But a couple years ago the consensus was that LSU's pitching outside of Skenes would prevent them from going far in the postseason. And then y'all had several guys step up when you needed them to.
That may have been the consensus outside of the LSU, which I thought was crazy. Bc inside the LSU locker room and fanbase, we knew LSU had enough depth in the pen to get the job done. We had a good weekend rotation beyond Skenes, and although the pen wasn’t extremely deep, it was still very much good enough to win a lot of ball games. And they proved it too. This year is very much different. I think you’ll understand what I’m talking about next weekend. I mean, I hope they turn it around, and I’d gladly admit I was wrong! But, that just hasn’t been the case so far this season.

And good luck this weekend my friends! Ive already plopped my butt on the couch, ready for it all to get started!
