The official "Jeremy Pruitt has been fired" WATCH THREAD.

I thought he said he was definitely coming back next year? We also don’t have any kind of depth at D Line to be ushering them out... the he is a senior comment doesn’t really hold in every case.
It is true that seniors can come back but the school has to renew their scholarship. At every school seniors are going to be told that there’s no room and to explore other options.

I think we are. We have some very promising young d-linemen and were bringing at least 4 more including two edge rushers.
Our edge rushers are OLB, Not a 6’7” 300lbs DT... I don’t see any improvement at Middletons position with who’s coming and who’s there if he leaves. Emerson was MIA now for years, Thomas played limited snaps, Simmons is a project and is short and a nose... we don’t have the depth.

Of course he's not going to give any details on being "told there was a vacancy".
I’m just pointing out that it’s a bad look. Being he’s a pretty big ambassador for the University as one of the leagues premier O-Lineman I would imagine he knows people. It’s not his job to tell anyone who he talks to though so I don’t know why people got butthurt when someone may have been told something but choose not to disclose details.

We're going to end up bringing him back and then we'll have to fire him and Fulmer next year. It will be a mess. The roster will deteriorate to the point of total rebuild, and we'll end up with a late start chaotic search that results in us hiring whichever Dooley sequel is willing to fail for three years to collect 12 million.

It's not his job to stir the pot either. He knows damn well how passionate UT fans are, so if you're going to throw out you "heard something" you damn well know it's going to rile people up. To act like it's the fans fault to *gasp* ask for details is quite silly. He can choose not to disclose details but guess what, he can also choose not to say anything either.

If you look at my post history, seeing all the posts in the Gruden threads has hurt my feelings again. I'll be back. Bones never lie.

Also, next year's instate class is the kind of loaded that can springboard a coach to some decent success, kind of like the legacy classes Butch had early. Got the momentum going with the easy targets and then we were able to generate a good buzz and sign some really good out of state prospects, too.

Instead, we are going to watch all those guys leave the state, just like the top guys did this year. Meanwhile, Pruitt will have convinced himself he's going to land the five star player from Tuscaloosa whose dad played for the Tide.

Our line had to start a true Fr at center because of Covid I can only assume. The 2 guys that beat us on slant plays beat everyone they face with them. Their playmakers made plays, ours didn't.

Excuse machine is fired up and running smoothly, I see. I don't believe for a second that you actually believe that much differently than everyone else, I just think you get your jollies coming on here and contradicting people.

I remember everyone being angry with Dooley for snubbing the Memphis area.

We signed two DT’s and one is 6’ 5” 325, add that to Garland, Emerson, Thomas, Simmons, and Blakley, I think we’ll have a solid rotation.

Garland rotated, Blakley was a sub package, Emerson yet again MIA for years, Thomas hopefully developes, Simmons is one dimensional and a long project. Most of these aren’t starters anywhere and most didn’t here.
Edit: Middleton has the most upside potential of those I listed.

I can respect you are a die-hard Pruitt guy and on the sunshiny side.

Some of these transfers are going to hurt. You don't replace DT with freshman's.
We already solid d-linemen, we won’t need to rely on freshmen.
