I don't think Pruitt is going anywhere. What recent move has the Athletic Department made that would make anyone think that he would be fired. It seems the key players are content to be irrelevant. 64844274.jpg

Yeah wouldn't be ironic. JP tries hiring someone and the University overrules him and says I don't think so. After thats how he ended up here with Currie making a hire and then getting dragged back here by University saying I don't think so.

You might as well accept it, he's coming back. All this talk of him being let go today is nothing but internet guys playing telephone off their own rumors or reading very carefully written tweets that pretend to say something but in reality say nothing.

And to go even further, the probable reality is if we go 6-6 next year, he's getting a year 5. These posts about the line being 8-4 or 9-3 and has to beat one of the big 3......I'll believe it when I see it. Dooley and Jones were let go after having terrible seasons and there was plenty of evidence that had Dooley just won 1 more game in 2013 he was back in 2013. And had Jones pulled off 2 of those close losses my bet is he would have gotten a year 6.

If I'm wrong I'll gladly eat crow but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

It has become obvious to all that Jeremy Pruitt will remain the head coach of the Tennessee Volunteers, barring some unexpectedly distasteful outcome to the ongoing recruiting violations investigation. So we're really just kicking around here. It's almost like a role-playing group, where we pretend a coaching change is imminent, and then play our parts in that light.

I only feel bad for the very few who think this is real and serious.

As I heard it, Freeze is coming AND bringing Dwayne Haskins. They're going to petition the NCAA because Haskins pro record shows he never REALLY played in the NFL. Their presser will be at the Mouse's Ear Friday.

Middleton took all his Tennessee stuff off Twitter I think, I don’t really follow it so could be nothing or possibly another name to leave.
