I admit I was for keeping Pruitt for one more year, but would be told vast improvement or we are moving on. But if all this is true, then it's time to pull the plug and go after the best we can get. Shoot high and find the best guy. Freeze, this wouldn't stop me from going after him. Tennessee has a good compliance team and he would have to toe the line, but I believe he has learned from that. I that I would go Campbell but I may also at least test out stoops, meyer and even maybe Mark Stoops. I think Campbell could win here myself and believe we would take it with the right offer. I would approach Dave Shaw as well, make them tell you they aren't interested for sure.GBO!!!!

Same , and as for as Campbell. He’s coaching a Iowa st team that’s very good and came along ways but your talking about competing in the Big12 where you only need to beat OU and Texas, rather than all the good teams in the SEC so with Campbell he would be on my list but not near the top. Even Butch made Cincy somewhat relevant at the time. Again, I want to hire the best and starting at the top. I’d put Campbell around 4-5 on the list. But that’s my opinion.

We fired Dooley after his 3rd season then why can’t we fire Pruitt after his 3rd season ? Dooley’s record after his third season was 15-21. Pruitt’s is 16-19 pretty similar in fact almost identical.
