The Official Indianapolis Colts Thread

Good to be 3-1 overall and 1-0 in division, going to be a lot tougher this week. I still don't know how good this team is.

Not really Colts news but Freeney likely done for year and if that's the case that might end his career

Sorry to hear that. On the other hand, Robert Mathis has been playing well in the new defense.

I'm hoping the Colts can go at least 2-2 in their next four games. Seattle, at SD, Denver, at Houston.

Mathis has been a beast, 3 sacks yesterday. Seattle is very good but beatable on road. San Diego always beats us and I think Houston is a fraud. Denver game is a wild card to me, emotions will be all over the place. But yea I would take 2-2

I did not envision playing this well this early.

The division is ours for the taking.

I didn't either, before the season I would have took a split with Seahawks and 49ers I never expected to beat both.

No doubt, it helps having those 2 games out of the way already.

Just a pathetic performance on both sides of the ball. D could not them off the field but did hold them to field goals, Offense could not freaking score, way too many dropped passes. Left the door open for 2 other teams in the division. Good news both will have 4 losses (texans could have 5). Bad news really likely we will have 3 losses.

Yup, that was sorry football all the way around (except AV kicking). In the second half, I couldn't understand the decisions to punt both in the 3rd and 4th qtr. It seemed like the coaches and I were watching different games.

I will say I think Pep Hamilton is the worst play caller in the league. I have heard several times that USC is looking at him, I pray they take him. We have a top 10 QB in league, maybe best young QB and Pep continues to hold him back. Let the man throw, that's what he gets paid to do. Chargers are a terrible D and not to score more than 9 on them is terrible, not to mention all the drops. Good news we are still in first and even if we lose to Broncos we won't lose any ground in division.

Agreed. I've wondered why even have a human play caller. Someone needs to develop a computer program which has a fair amount of randomness embedded within in it which would suggest a play given 1) opponent defense and personnel, 2) down/distance/field position.

Disappointing performance for sure.

Still confident in winning the division, but this was a game we couldn't afford to drop.
