The Official Indianapolis Colts Thread

Way too many injuries. Oline and Dline has to stay on the damn field. I don't get how we can have so many injuries. It's time to start cutting guys who can't stay on the field and those high draft picks that never or rarely play. You got guys like Painter, Garcon, Saturday, Mathis and Freeney who play their butts off but have to suffer because others can't stay on the field and our moronic d coord calls these soft zones play after freaking play.

That was frustrating. I quit watching at halftime because I figured if the d coordinator didn't give a damn about the game, why should I? Simply randomly switching defenses would have been better than letting them pass underneath time after time.

Play after play, dropping Angerer 20 yards deep and corners playing 10 yards off. Time to fire him also

Defensive injuries are nothing new to Indianapolis, as Colts fans can attest. It turns out this is one case where numbers match perception. From 2006 to 2010, Indianapolis lost more starter games because of injury than any other defense in the NFL, and it's not even close.

As if we needed more evidence, this further proves how great Peyton is.

well they tried it looks like

someone probably should be fired for putting together a team that's so bad without just one player - granted it's manning, but this defense (and most of the rest of this team) seems...i dunno...too overly set up around a "we can hold a lead if we score a lot of points" design

Polian has done a terrible job of drafting and Caldwell of coaching.

Painter is rounding into form. The first four games were his presason/warm up phase. he's got chemistry with Garcon. The defense is keeping the team in most games. The underachiever of the team is Dallas Clark. His drops and missed assignments are pathetic.

Colts would be 4-1 if Manning was playing. I don't think people really appreciate what Peyton has done the past few years for the Colts. His ability to read defenses and set protections along with his quick release really has disguised alot of the deficiencies that the colts oline has had for years.

Funny how Brady goes down and the Patriots lose 5 games the entire season. Manning goes out and the Colts lose their first 5 games.
