The Official Indianapolis Colts Thread

I saw that. Good for him, and hopefully good for the Colts. Our guards have been terrible since we let Jake Scott get away.

I'll be interested to see how much better he's gotten since he left Tennessee.

He was always a great run blocker but so-so pass protector.

Just worth note here because it came from the owner: (or at least ESPN reports this as his twitter account)

We r evaluating the QB sitch,#18 healing but we got 2 b prepared 4 early season possibility without him, defense has 2 pick it up,big time!

Time to be concerned. Without Manning, the Colts are in the Andrew Luck sweepstakes. Let's just hope Manning takes a longtime to get warmed up because we all know he'll play week 1.

Definitely don't want them to draft Luck...

.....first off i don't know why you'd be posting this in a colts thread unless you just really enjoy receiving the backlash that's going to come from it

second, the post/news pretty much leads on that, at most, manning will probably only miss a few weeks, like 3-4 being the max

I think Colts fans know they're one of the worst teams in the NFL without one of the greatest players in NFL history. Painter is garbage. Orlovsky is garbage. No running game. Defense is average to below average.

I'd take their results over the last decade and be thankful. But without Manning, the Colts are atrocious. They're built to pass with some of the best pass catchers in football and coincidentally there isn't a QB backing up Manning that can throw. Nothing embellished about that statement.

You really think they will finish last in the league? We still have two wins over the Titans.

And Honestly they're not going to be bad enough to draft Luck either, unless the injury bug goes through the locker room with a sledgehammer

Neither team's going to be picking first overall

Without Manning, I'd take that bet any day of the week. There isn't a team in the league more dependent on one player than the Colts.

They'd be towards the bottom of the league for sure. Manning isn't going to miss many games, if any, so there is nothing to worry about. Unless you're a Titans fan.

I do think it's time to start considering a QB in the next draft or two.

No arguing that point. I just hope this is a replay of 2008 and it takes awhile for Manning to get into a rhythm.

The Colts are the class of the AFC South. I respect all they've accomplished over Manning's career. Just tired of being little brother. :peace2:

Colts without Manning have 13 total points in preseason against Rams and Redskins. It's not looking too good.
