The Official Indianapolis Colts Thread

They did earn it...

That PI call later on was pretty ticky-tack. Darth Hoody's decision to go for it on 4th and 2 was obviously one that should never have been made. They were also still a hair's width away from converting it. That was scary.

But the Colts are the best team in the NFL right now. Crazy good.

I might be getting a little ahead of myself, but being the only other team to go undefeated and get another one of these

would be awesome.

Can't see it happening with zero running game and the defense barely hanging together. There were about a dozen things that had to happen just right in the fourth quarter for the Colts to have a shot at winning and they all did. They won't catch that many breaks in the playoffs.

The Colts HAVE to get homefield advantage if they are going to make a run. If the defense can just show up and hold teams to 3 TDs, the Colts will have a chance to beat anyone.

I agree with you a little bit but keep in mind that we have played the last 3 weeks with pretty much just 1 RB, our best CB (Hayden) is out but should come back over the next few weeks, 2nd most experienced WR is out. Peyton also threw several really bad passes, looked like wounded ducks that got picked off, do you think Peyton will ever throw 2 bad passes like that ever in another game? The Colts gave the Pats alot of chances to win that game, the D stood up when they had to.

I sure do, especially if they play a team that gets pressure on him the way the Pats did.

The pressure was not the reason for those 2 ints. Those 2 passes were terrible, he will never throw 2 bad passes like that ever again in the same game.

What an amazing night it was... WOW.

All I have to say is... Bill Belichick... you've been PUNK'D!

It was a great night, I am so tired at work today. I was so pumped after that game I could not sleep.

I love anytime Belicheat is wrong and looks like a moron.

He wasn't under any real pressure on those 2 passes... it seemed that the ball just came out extremely weird.

He made 2 really wobbly passes in that series (that included the 1st INT intended for Garcon) and that was it, that I saw, though, I didn't see the 2nd INT that was apparently a miscommunication with Wayne.

Yeah... not a Colts fan but I despise the Pats and Belichick and I have to say it's good to see Manning do well against his (professional) nemesis.

The second int looked exactly like the one to Garcon. Not much pressure, looks like the ball just got away from him on both passes

It did, but did you see how the ball looked like a wounded duck in the air on both ints?

There was definitely something going on that affected Manning's hold on the ball as it was released.

Possibly a sprained wrist? He's had mild/moderate injuries and hasn't said anything about them before.

Could be, the more I think about it I am not really buying that it was a miscommunication between him and Wayne, because that int looked exactly like the one he threw when he was throwing to Garcon. I have obvisouly seen him throw many picks but never have I seen him throw a ball like that especially when he was not hit.
