The Official Indianapolis Colts Thread

Apparently Roy Hall was impressive today. Some think he will be the 4th WR this year. Having a big WR like Hall could really add to the different ways this team could hurt you. This offense is going to be scary good.

The D will be really good this year. Secondary should be better than ever. LBs will be fast and will hit you. DEs should be 10x better this year. Brock has been moved back to the edge and they now have a rotation of Freeney, Brock, Mathis and Marcus Howard. Marcus Howard has really stood out in camp so far. He is a freak athlete. Ran a 4.45 at the Combine. The only real ? on the defense is can someone step up and play next to Ed Johnson at DT. Hopefully Quinn Pitcock plays up to his potential this year.

I don't get it. I don't know the story though, but I'd say he probably couldn't handle conditioning. He started a game last year. For a third rounder he wasn't a bust by no means.

Wasn't the conditioning. Dungy said he worked harder than anyone in offseason workouts. He was going to be a pretty good player. The story is that he was driving to camp from Ohio and realized that he didn't want to play football any more so he turned his car around and went home. Never even showed up to camp.

That's really weird. Maybe he was just low on gas.

I respect a guy for wanting knees at 40, but that's a lot a money to walk away from. Really surprising too that he's a major college guy, reminds me of the Cedric Houston deal.

Cedric had had some health problems, which I imagine may have played a role in his decision.
