The Official Indianapolis Colts Thread

Signed C Costa. Most likely depth signing, can play C/G. 2 year 2.7 milli.
Not Alex Mack signing everybody wants to improve our OLine, but it's a cheap and young option with some experience.
Could still get in on Mack, but it's going to be a lot for a C. But with only having Holmes(last year 4th rounded) and Costa at the position could be scary next year.
They could draft someone.

I almost want to sign Nicks, but this year's draft is stacked with WR. I'm still undecided. He could really do well in Blue if he stays healthy.
It would allow us to sign Mack, even though that much money worries me as well lol. A FS like Clemons maybe. And a DT. Then the draft we can grab a WR in the 3rd, maybe C in the second (if we don't sign Mack) or another G, possibly S/WR in round two. But I think we could go WR in 3. Safety in two would be good. And then grab a DT, CB, OL
It all depends on who we sign before the draft.
We definitely need another C, but A safety could be the first pick we make, and I really do see WR in the 3. But we need all the help we can get on the OLine. I'm really wanting to find some bigger badder LBs. But that'll have to wait a year I would imagine.

Nice breakdown, I want Gabe Jackson in second round but they have to get a safety somewhere get another receiver later on in draft I guess.

A healthy Wayne, Nicks, TY and Allen at tight end great group of receivers. Love the Nicks deal not a terribly high cap number and it's just one year so if he can't get it done no big loss.

Yeah I'm sold on it, the money was beyond reasonable.
And if nothing major hPpens before the draft, we could get a top second tier OL/C in round 2, but I think we could pick up a high caliber S and I think we will.'But definitely see OL in there somewhere. We may wAit completely until next year to take a WR. With Nicks, TY, Wayne, Rogers, Brazil, the latter two improved nicely last year. plus Whalen who most likely will be practice squad/reserve. And then you have D.Allen coming back, which is huge plus Fleener who made huge strides, still needs to improve his hands.

So we can definitely obtain position of needs. S, C/OL, CB, DT, and my personal wish, a sleeper huge framed mean LB.
Sucks we don't have a first rounder, but we can still get something accomplished. I would be shocked if we traded up to round 1, and I don't see what we would trade to do so. I'd be all for trying to get another 2nd or. 3rd though.

I am not a Colts fan but the signing of Nicks makes them even more dangerous. I could easily see the Colts in the AFC championship.

First impressions of Colts draft does nothing to get me excited (outside on Moncrief) of course not having a first round pick due to trading it for a bust will not help enthusiasm
