The Official Indianapolis Colts Thread

Colts with another solid performance against Seattle. However, the Seahawks are awful.

@ Tennessee on Sunday Night Football next week. They should be VERY hungry for a win, haha.

Manning could throw for 600 yards next week if he wanted to or if they let him.

They of course being Colts' coaches, not the Titans' defense, because they almost certainly will let him do it.

I know who Simpson is. According to this, Wilson: Colts promote Mike Hart to active roster | National Football Post , Simpson was cut. If that was wrong, I apologize.

No, you're right... my mistake. I checked their depth chart on www.colts.com and they still had Simpson returning kicks. I had also seen him on the injury report for the game against Seattle.

But you are correct. Simpson was released. I'd say Hart is definitely an upgrade at the No. 3 tailback position.

It's probably a safe bet that Peyton will reach 300 yards for the 5th consecutive game.

:)

Manning just looks so sharp this year (even more than previous years). Hope his knee is ok

Johnson was released to make room for Matt Stover, not because of any character issue. Caldwell actually said in the linked article that his release was more of a production issue. Stover will be taking over for Vinatieri for the next 6 weeks or so...

I'm not buying that it was for a lack of production. If he wasn't producing, he wouldn't have been starting. There had to be something else.
