Roadtrip, A’s then finish with Angels.

Astros finally get their offense engaged, after two losses and falling behind 0-6 in game 3, they score 3 in the fifth, then 8 in the sixth. Run management may be an issue. Final: 11-6… hold that thought. Bryan Abreu chokes up a two out, three run homer. 11-9, T9. K Final: 11-9

Astros finished their home stand 5-2, sweeping the Red Sox. Ten game West coast roadie starts Friday against the A’s followed by the Rockies, then the Mariners. After an 0-2 start, they are at the top of the AL West to start the road trip.

6-11, eight game skid ends with the start of a homestand! They managed to beat the 6-11 Rockies. You can have the basement back Colorado.

It wasn’t without ninth inning drama. What had been a 7-3 lead got chipped away, little by little, down to runners at 2nd and 3rd, two outs, T9. Had to bring in yet another reliever to get the last out. Sad…

Okert doesn’t last long. 0.2 innings. Leaves game down 0-1, with bases juiced. Weiss in relief escapes the first inning jam.

Hader throws an inning in relief in his first rehab assignment. 1BB, 1 K, 0 Earnies. Saturday is his next rehab.

Imai and Peterson struggled.
