Did you see Hashim get all ready to fight when the dude pushed him in the back? Don't be messin' with Thabeet.

Watching the Griz play out the string in San Antonio tonight and while I enjoy Rob Fischer's sideline reporting I have to say that the play by play and color combo of Pranica and Tuohy just have sucked all year. Do y'all think they should be back next year?

Do not mind Pranica. Tuohy needs to just stfu. If I could choose I'd have Hasseltine do the TV.

So glad we went ahead and snagged Lionel for another 3 years before he was lured away by all of the other teams that wanted him.

I look forward to many more 4th quarter disasters in the coming years.

I will have to agree. I think the double digit leads that evaporated in the fourth quarter leading to losses have to be laid at the coaching staffs feet. However, the players have stated they love Lionel and might not come back if he isn't resigned. Anyways, I saw him on the news tonight state basically "the ownership made an offer, we countered the offer and they put the same offer back on the table. You can take that for what it's worth". He said that with a smirk on his face and y'all can take that for what it's worth. Like Gcrop said, good thing we got him to sign due to all of the other NBA teams clamoring for his services.

That whole sports section of the news tonight made me sick (the interviews and Lionel's presser).

(some off-season Griz chat)

While I don't think he is the worst PG in the NBA, I get sick of people saying Mike Conley is good and we should stick with him.

I had a guy on another board tell me that he would rather have Conley over Dwayne Wade, Derrick Rose, Chauncey Billups, Tyreke Evans and Stephen Curry because Mike is not a shoot first PG and his Assist to Turnover ratio is better than any of the aforementioned players. So I posted the following....

2010 Stats

Rose
Points: 20.8
Assists: 6.0
Rebounds: 3.8
TO: 2.8

Billups
Points: 19.5
Assists: 5.6
Rebounds: 3.1
TO: 2.4

Evans
Points: 20.1
Assists: 5.8
Rebounds: 5.3
TO: 3.0

Wade
Points: 26.6
Assists: 6.5
Rebounds: 4.8
TO: 3.3

Curry
Points: 17.5
Assists: 5.9
Rebounds: 4.5
TO: 3.0

Conley
Points: 12.0
Assists: 5.3
Rebounds: 2.4
TO: 2.1

The ONLY stat that Mike beats ANY of them in is TOs. And those are minimal.

Does the Thunder have a better young nucleus than the Griz? Watching them in the playoffs, it is hard to say no.

Evans got ROY but he obviously doesn't deserve it. He wasn't even good enough for the Griz to draft and Evans was already in the city.
