I liked the idea of him starting over Crowder, at C, even last year...but man, this guy deserves some serious kudos for his play this past Saturday. I don't know when I've ever seen an interior lineman pull block so effectively.

An OT he may not be, but he's going to play on Sundays, at C, if he keeps this up.

160 pounds he may be, but it isn't often a center blocks a safety in the defensive backfield.

6'0 188lbs to be exact. It was an excellent block in space.

Yep. Which means that guy was quicker than him and with proper technique could have shot past him and made a tackle on Hurd.
BUT, Thomas is a.... talented talented man, and he got his big strong body in position to clear the way for Hurd.
