The Official Florida @ Tennessee Series Thread (Fri. 3/14 6:30PM EDT SECNET+) (Sat. 3/15 3:30PM EDT SEC Network) (Sun. 3/16 1PM EDT SECNET+)

I did not get to see the Vol’s game today, but I saw the score! That was a good ole fashion beatdown! They better move yall to #1 after this weekend, and it doesn’t matter what happens tomorrow either.

Read through the thread a bit. Sorry to disappoint yall pulling against my Tigers! Well, I’m not really sorry, but it’s just better to be polite! lol Congrats on the BIG win today friends!

Classy post is classy.

I got to watch a bit of y’all’s game today, as always, formidable, being number 1 today, as you well know, means absolutely nothing. Good luck the rest of the way and any insights you care to share, we’ll take. Much respect.

Seems like a good dude. I remember checking in as an expat at Canal Street Chronicles, a Saints sbnation site, back when Kamara first went to NOLA. Tried to stay centered and respectful myself.

@TigerMan is always cool. LSU baseball is kinda the standard, baseball there was way cool, certainly way before us and that never gets lost on me. They showed us what it looks like. Been a long road to here for us but LSU gave us the map. Believe in college baseball. Firmly believe that, and if you ever stand in the Parking lot at Hoover, you get it.

I must confess to watching the baseball game on my phone during my mother's and my son's birthday dinner today.
I instructed my dad to text me the play by play of the basketball game, and he did just that. It was like following the game thread. Imagine trying to bowl while you’re being told Mashack got poked in the eye but sunk both free throws, then the Vols are up 3 with 14 seconds left and it’s Auburn ball, “but wait.. there’s a review, it might be Tennessee’s ball!” 😅😂

I hate to say you missed a good one but I was saying after 6 1/2 it might have been the best baseball game I had ever seen - and that saying something at my age. Our defense made some terrific plays, Marcus battled like crazy and kept it scoreless. Then boom. This team is scarey good.
I just watched the replay highlights. Incredible performance pitching, defense, offense. This team has it all. Probably the best overall defensive performance I’ve seen from a Vol team. Florida is a good team in its own right and they’ll probably pull it together when their healthy, that just goes to show how good TV is.

Got a little taste of their tradition arriving for the Friday night game at Minute Maid (2022) against Texas. LSU was playing OU in the afternoon game.

Went to 11 innings as we were settling in for our game. Awesome purple and gold folk everywhere! Lots of Mardi Gras that time of year too!

I always appreciate the company here! You’re good people in my book. College baseball, to me, is just a sport that can bring people together for a good time (for families too), without all the crap that football brings with it. There’s just more sportsmanship in baseball amongst fans. Nothing wrong with a little ribbing here and there. But, when you get beat in baseball, you just gotta tip your cap, and say I hope we get em next time! And outside of a small group of people that you can find at any school’s fanbase, college baseball fans seem to understand this, and respect the game for what it is.

It’s been a privilege being an LSU baseball fan. And if LSU has played some small part in helping to build college baseball within the conference, then that’s a big source of gratitude for me, bc I love SEC baseball. I love my Tigers first, but I love SEC baseball too.
