I was talking about bama, fl, sc, ga. We were close on them, but lost. I don't think that warrants firing the coach that we just hired.

This is UT. We hvae a tradition here of keeping our coaches for a long time and it has payed off.

UT is one of the most successful football programs in colege football of all time. We didn't get that way by firing every coach.

If we stick with the program, UT will be as good as bama and LSU within the next few seasons.

Mark my words.

I think we need some new players on defense, yes.

I think we can get it done with a couple of minor changes.

Relax and watch.

UT is gonna do it.

Maybe replying to threads about firing your head coach right after you win a game is a bad idea.

Maybe it is better to let these type of threads just fade out.

Top 25 team? They were a 4-4 SUNBELT team before the game started with losses to Western Kentucky and a 1 and 5 FAU team.

Programs with high standards dont wait to give a guy 3-5 years to install things from the ground up unless they are coaching legends, with major conference titles, bowl victories, and preferably, some NC's in their resume.

Dooley isnt any of that. He was put in a tough spot because of his idiot predecessor and would get another job coaching down the road, no problem. He just wasn't ready, and he's already served the purpose of being a bandaid for us.

He's been here for 3 years now, and cannot compete in the SEC. Maybe we should just play non-conference teams since that's all we can beat (and after today-barely beat).

Muschamp has been at UF for 3 years and they are winners.
ND coach is in his third year and is still undefeated.
Mullins has done wonders at State in his 4 years.

Dooley hasn't done a single thing. Troy is his milestone win for this year. Plus they gave up over 700 yards of total offense today. Giving Dooley more time will only hurt the University and its competitiveness for the future. Why would anyone want to play for a loosing coach, that has proven he can't win at two schools?
