I will admit I am just now catching up to reality. The man has got to go. Not only do we need to put up the cash for a legit coach but we also need to put up the cash for a DNA test. No way Derek came from Vince's loins.

I have taken alot of crap for my views on here toward Dooley. The fact that I think we are finally going to do something about it makes the fight worth it.

It's said over and over but I'll say it again...is going 5 years and not beating a top 20 team enough losing? We're talking the football program that General Neyland built.

But to have a knee jerk reaction and hire some wannabe is disastrous. You have to endure until you hire the RIGHT coach. Not some up and comer..and hope he turns out to be a good coach. You have to inject INSTANT life into the program with a major hire.

You don't turn a losing ship around like this with mediocre hires. You have to endure until you get the most proven name you can get...not any wannabes.

I agree, just look at our last hire. Total forced hire which was a disaster.

My point is to keep Dooley or do the interim thing as long as it takes to hire the RIGHT coach. You don't go hire another Dooley to replace Dooley. You wait on Gruden or you go after Chip Kelly or somebody like that and you pay them whatever it takes to get them to Tennessee.

That's what Alabama did and do you think that investment has paid off for them?

We were not late just negavols. I'm tired of this f@$%&&* joke of a coach and have been since last year. Maybe some if these dumb sunshine pumpers will wake up. I can say I told you so........

End of the season.. They won't make a change until then.. But Hart will be sending out feelers soon.. Promise..

It won't be a nation wide search.. They will know when Dooley is fired

I am done. I tried to back him but I have had enough. I will be selling my tickets untill he is gone. I will not spend the money to drive from murfreesboro to watch this crap anymore.

I'm willing to bet Hart has his list and has already had convos with people in a position to make things happen. CDD is a growing liability to fan support, recruiting and revenue. Wait until after the Bama and SCAR games-- anger will have turned to apathy, attendance will plunge and recruiting will suffer. Being proactive is key, IMO. The coaches, the team, the fans-- even the media-- knew what the stakes were this year... and tonight.

You can say what you want about Dooley coming or going or staying. But, a few of you posted those kids quit. They did not quit. They did not win. But, they did not quit and roll over and get blown out.

I think they are playing hard for the fans and Dooley. However, they are having trouble finding a way to win and are finding a way to lose.

That has to change. If Dooley can't get it done, you have to find someone who can. I was ready to fire him after the worse half of football I have seen in so many areas of the game.

Now, I really do not think he can get it done but will wait till this season is complete. I think they go 6-6. That will not get it done.

But, Haslems just bought a NFL team and have focus there. You guys who say just pay the money do not write the big checks. 1,000 or 1,500 you will donate for a new coach is laughable.

I bet Dooley stays this year and next and unless he pulls some kind of miracle, he will then be fired. Then, we will have taken the time and will have the money that will not come from you guys to make a big hire for a good football coach.

Long term that will get us where we want to be than to fire him tonight.

Wait and he will be fired unless he does something I don't think he is capable of doing.

Firing him after three years and with what is out there to hire will not get us the next Nick Saben.

But, if he is given four years and not doing it but with good talent in the fold, we will get a good coach.

You didn't have the wherewithal to check the forum for other threads (which btw the mods merged yours to this one) and you call the man out, and say he lives in a trailer? Seems you are more the trailer type. Sausage.
