I actually hate people who stop right behind me at a light on a steep hill. Give me at least a foot to roll back on when the light turns green people!!!!

Fawkin' A man! I had a stick shift S10 for awhile and hated them fawkers who did that.

That's why I issue the threat! As soon as I approach a hill stop I let the car roll back a bit as the car behind me is approaching, so they know that this is a manual transmission car, and rollback can happen.

THE THREAT!

During a race, Northstar won't ever see your tailpipe or any part of the back of your car. Like TEX said, we used to use the old stick parking brake for hill starts. Line lock works much easier and is great for racing.

Really?

I learned to drive in a Ford 3 speed on the column that didn't have a hand break lever. I figured that shat out.

I did, too. Feathering the clutch is probably the first thing I leaned. Only used the line lock on something I was going to race on the street or strip.

This one is very particular and selfish, but people who do not pull over on HWY 129 aka "The Dragon/ Deals Gap." The local governments have gone to great lengths to widen and pave the runoff areas on that road so that slower vehicles can allow quicker drivers to pass safely.

BUT NO. You get some dude in a Northstar powered Caddy who thinks he's hot stuff and his kids will be proud of him if he doesn't let this line of sports cars pass on this road.

Only thing in the area I live now that gets me, are the the Tourist and Frogheads. Tourist don't know where they are going and the frogheads don't remember where they are going or coming from.

Only thing worse is when the truck in the left lane is trying to get over and some impatient moron gets in the right lane trying to pass and everyone is screwed.
