This guy keeps it real.
The Detroit Lions took a tough Week 1 loss to the Green Bay Packers, but sometimes a loss can be exactly what a team needs. This game exposed some key areas the Lions must address, especially the lack of a consistent pass rush, which was on full display today. In this video, we break down why this loss could actually be a blessing in disguise — giving Detroit the chance to make crucial adjustments early in the season and come back even stronger.
I thought the Ben Johnson loss was huge for the Lions. As a Packers fan, I hate that he went to Chicago. I think they might be sneaky good this year. One of the weaknesses on paper, as far as the roster is concerned, was interior offensive line. The fear was realized but they can improve.
My bigger fear is the turnover at coordinator. That was downplayed within the fanbase but unfortunately might be an issue.
I also can’t help but wonder if the starters doing next to nothing in the preseason is part of the problem. Game 1 at Green Bay feels like the Vols opening on the road at Florida (at least historically).
