I try not to let sports affect my day but I’m bummed. We had the best team in football this year and I would even argue by a decent margin and we’ve had the worst injury luck in the franchise’s last 25 years

I still believe we can make the Super Bowl (even if we would give up 250 yards to Jordan Jefferson, Mike Evans or AJ Brown in the playoffs) because I don’t think anyone in the NFC can win a shootout at home against us but I have zero faith we can beat Allen, Jackson or a healthy Mahomes

With Iffy back, I think I’m moving Amik to outside CB and playing Branch at NB and having Kent and Iffy as my safeties. On 4-3 defense looks I’ll move Branch back to safety with Kerby. It’s a lot to ask but without Davis they just got to get the 5 best guys out there.

I think the Lions will be okay stopping the run. Reader is still awesome and O’Connor/Onwuzurike are perfectly fine helping out in the run. Maybe Brodic Martin can step up and not be a disaster (unlikely). On passing downs, I’m moving Paschal inside with Levi and going with ZaDarius and Muhammad on the outside and blitzing the hell out of everyone

Good win today. Offense was really efficient, defense survived. Wasn’t pretty but we will take it.

First 13 win regular season in Lions history
