Dan Mullen's record vs. every SEC team
This is a bit off.....only knew because I know KY has beaten them once. No disrespect but I'll check it out ad offer any other changed that may be needed.
I don't think they've updated the football facility since 05. The stadium is next to last in capacity ahead of only Vandy.
They are dropping a huge chunk on baseball.
I think you are conflating "rebuilding."
UTs program when Dooley left had to be completely rebuilt. Everything, from the academic support to the locker room. Losing players is going to happen in college to EVERY program. So, every team is doing that. If you are equating that to those you mention, you are smoking crack.
Dan Mullen has also had what 8 defensive coordinators in his 9 years there.....
Dan Mullen has so many of the same issues that Butch Jones has.
People don't want to coach for him.
Looses games vs the top 25
Coaches games scared
Blows leads in games.....
Please no dan Mullen
I cannot stomach Butch 2.0
Its hard for me to quantify that into wins. I feel like winners win and losers make excuses for why they arent winning. Hell, Ive made excuses for Butch because I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt even though I knew losing to Vandy twice probably meant his days were numbered.
I think Mullen would be a good hire, but I have questions. Then again, that can be said about every candidate on the board.
I get that, Freak, but the question begs ' what do you consider winning at a place like MSU?' Because I would argue he likely exceeded the expectations of both the school and fanbase, based on the history the history of the program. So the guy has won big considering what MSU had as a measuring stick. To the fans of traditional SEC powers it may not seem SEC special, but he has won at a place that hard historically been very hard to break .500, and he has had to do so in a division that had a run of dominance that was unparalled. To be able to swim in those shark-infested waters at a doormat program and keep your head above water is a feat, IMO.
