Basically his recruiting coordinator and right hand man was acting as a runner for agents and funneling players money. He was know as the "black santa claus". Whenever he should up it suddenly became very difficult to pull a recruit.

He was the D line coach wasn't he? Maybe Corey Miller was right about the whole 'offered me cash to come to UNC' thing.

Pretty sure thats right. Van Pelt went off about it today on his show. Said the guy was know as someone who gets things done.

think about it. One of his best friends was coming to UT in C Miller. You don't change your mind about something like that on a whim.
